Former Supercars driver Renee Gracie will continue her return to professional motorsport by competing in the GT World Challenge Australia behind the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS, backed by OnlyFans.
It was confirmed earlier this month that Gracie would return to top-level racing after several years away, with her comeback set to begin at the Perth round of the GT World Challenge Australia calendar. Further details have now been revealed, confirming that she will contest the GT Trophy class in an Audi R8 LMS.
The car will be run with support from experienced Australian GT competitor Mark Griffiths, as Gracie builds back into competitive racing following her hiatus from the sport.
Gracie’s Audi will carry prominent branding from OnlyFans, a company closely associated with her career since stepping away from full-time motorsport. The partnership follows discussions between Gracie and OnlyFans regarding their involvement in her return to racing.
Her comeback is also expected to be documented as part of a production commissioned by Australian streaming service Stan, which is set to follow her journey back into competition.
Gracie has said that significant planning and coordination took place behind the scenes to bring the programme together, describing the process as complex and demanding. She has acknowledged that multiple elements, including the racing programme, sponsorship arrangements and documentary commitments, all needed to align for the return to proceed.
She has expressed excitement about seeing the OnlyFans branding on the car, noting the strong public association between her personal brand and the platform. Gracie has also highlighted the scale of effort involved in finalising the programme and confirmed that preparations are now firmly focused on the Perth event.
Gracie is best known for her two appearances in the Bathurst 1000, where she competed alongside Simona de Silvestro in the Harvey Norman Supergirls entry in 2015 and 2016. Her earlier career also included campaigns in Carrera Cup and the Supercars Super2 Series before she stepped away from racing at the end of 2017.
From a Racing-X perspective, the confirmation of Gracie’s car, class and commercial backing adds further clarity to one of the more closely watched returns in Australian GT racing this season. Attention will now turn to how quickly she can adapt to GT3 machinery and establish herself within the GT Trophy field as the season unfolds.
Gracie is expected to make her race debut in the Audi R8 LMS at the upcoming Perth round, with further details of her programme likely to be confirmed closer to the event.
