The long running Am class rivalry between Garage 75 and AMAC Motorsport will continue in the 2026 GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS season, with both teams confirming unchanged driver line ups.
Garage 75 will again field its Ferrari 296 GT3 for reigning champions David Tjiptobiantoro and Christian Colombo. The car has been upgraded to the latest Evo specification ahead of the new campaign.
Tjiptobiantoro and Colombo have been among the most competitive combinations in the Am category in recent years. Tjiptobiantoro also secured the Am class title in 2024, while Colombo finished second that season after missing one round of the championship.
Their main rivals, Australian pairing Andrew Macpherson and Ben Porter, will once again represent AMAC Motorsport. The duo will compete in a new Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo for the upcoming season.
Macpherson and Porter are among the most successful Am class competitors in the championship’s history. They won the title in 2019 and again in 2022, and have remained regular front runners with a string of runner up and third place finishes in recent seasons.
The move to the latest Porsche 992 GT3 R Evo marks a major update for AMAC, which had previously campaigned the earlier 991.2 generation of the car. The team has also confirmed it will move away from its long standing black, white and fluorescent orange livery for the new season.
The 2026 GT World Challenge Asia season will consist of six rounds and 12 races, beginning at Sepang International Circuit on April 4 to 5.
