DS Penske have confirmed that Jessica Edgar and Lindsay Brewer will take part in the Formula E Women’s Test, scheduled for Friday 31 October at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

The Women’s Test forms part of the official pre-season programme ahead of the 2025/26 FIA Formula E World Championship, with all teams set to run their Season 12 cars during the Valencia test window from 27–30 October. The Women’s Test will once again provide an opportunity for leading female drivers to gain valuable mileage in current-generation Formula E machinery, with increased track time compared to the inaugural running.

Jessica Edgar returns to DS Penske after previously participating in the first Women’s Test. Coming from a motorsport family, Edgar began karting in 2010 before stepping into single-seaters with a full season in the GB4 Championship in 2022, where she secured a podium at Oulton Park. In 2023, she competed in the inaugural season of F1 Academy, recording four podium finishes and a race victory. In 2025, Edgar has been active across the British Kart Championship and Super 4 in the KZ2 category, maintaining a broad competitive programme alongside her Formula E involvement.

Edgar said she was pleased to continue her relationship with the team, noting the positive experience gained during her previous outing and highlighting the importance of building experience in the car while contributing to the wider growth of women’s participation in motorsport.

Joining her in the DS Penske line-up is Lindsay Brewer, who brings experience from the American single-seater ladder, having previously raced in Indy Pro 2000 and Indy NXT. Brewer is currently competing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America and claimed a race victory at Road America earlier in the season. The Women’s Test will mark her first opportunity to drive a Formula E car in an official team environment.

Brewer described the test as an important chance to experience Formula E from the inside, work closely with the DS Penske engineers, and maximise learning during the session.

The Valencia pre-season test will be the only collective on-track running for the grid before the new season begins, with the opening round of the 2025/26 championship set to take place in São Paulo on 6 December. Formula E has confirmed that the Women’s Test will again play a central role in its wider development and diversity initiatives, offering meaningful, performance-focused track time in a competitive environment.

For DS Penske, the selection of Edgar and Brewer reflects a balance of prior Formula E exposure and experience from international racing categories, as the team prepares its Season 12 campaign and continues its involvement in the Women’s Test programme.
